# How do I change or reset my password?

## Short answer

On the Mindstamp login page, select **Forgot password?**, enter your account email, and select **Submit**. Open the link in the email and set a new password of at least 8 characters. Use the same steps to change a password you still know.

## Steps

1. Go to the Mindstamp login page. If you are signed in, log out first from the account menu.
2. Select **Forgot password?**.
3. Enter the email address of your Mindstamp account and select **Submit**.
4. Open the email from Mindstamp and select the reset link.
5. Enter your **New Password** and repeat it in **Confirm New Password**. It must be 8 to 128 characters.
6. Select **Submit**, then log in with the new password.

## If the email does not arrive

- Check the spam and promotions folders.
- Check that you typed the email of the account, not another address you use.
- Reset links expire. If the link does not work, request a new one.
- Ask your IT team to allow email from mindstamp.com if your company filters mail.

## If you sign in with Google

If you created your account with **Continue with Google**, keep using that button. Google manages that login, so you do not need a Mindstamp password.

## Support cannot see your password

Mindstamp stores passwords in a form that no one can read, so support cannot tell you your password or type a new one for you. Use the reset link. If it still fails, contact support from the account email.

## Team members

Each team member has a separate login and resets their own password. The owner cannot reset a password for another member.
