# How do I embed a booking calendar in my video?

## Short answer

Add a button with the **Open Link Modal** click action and paste the link to your booking page, such as a Calendly or HubSpot meetings page. When the viewer clicks, the video pauses and the calendar opens on top of the player. When they close it, the video continues.

## Steps

1. Copy the public link to your booking page from your scheduling tool.
2. In the editor, add a button such as “Book a call” at the time you want to offer it.
3. In the button’s **Content** section, set **Click Action** to **Open Link Modal**.
4. Paste the booking link into **Enter Link**.
5. Save, click **Preview**, click the button, and book a test time.

## Pre-fill the booking form

Click values can use variables. If your scheduling tool can fill in its form from the link, add the viewer’s details, for example https://calendly.com/your-team/intro?name={{name}}&email={{email}}. Check your tool’s documentation for the parameter names it accepts.

## Modal or new page

**Open Link Modal** keeps the viewer in the video. Some websites do not allow other sites to show them in a frame. If the modal is empty, use **Open Link** instead, which opens the page on its own.
