# How do I embed a Mindstamp video in Teachable?

## Short answer

Publish the Mindstamp video and copy its **Responsive** embed code. In the Teachable lesson editor, select **Add content**, then **Advanced Tools**, then **Custom Code**, paste the code, and save. Custom Code needs the Teachable Basic plan or higher.

## Steps

1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page if it is not published yet.
2. Under **Embed**, choose **Responsive** and select **Copy embed code**.
3. In Teachable, open the course and the lesson you want to edit.
4. Select **Add content**, then **Advanced Tools**, then **Custom Code**.
5. Paste the code and select **Save**.
6. Preview the lesson as a student on a computer, on a phone, and in the Teachable iOS app. Play the video and use each interaction.

## Custom Code needs a paid Teachable plan

Teachable lists the Custom Code block on the Basic plan and higher. The Free plan does not have it. Teachable support does not troubleshoot custom code, so check the code on the Mindstamp **Share** page first.

## If the player looks wrong in the iOS app

Teachable fixed a bug in iOS app version 3.5.1 where custom code overflowed the screen. Use the **Responsive** code, which scales to the lesson width, and check the lesson in the app.

## If your account restricts embed domains

## Know which learner watched

## Teachable does not import SCORM

The embed does not tell Teachable that the student finished, and Teachable does not import SCORM packages. Students select **Complete & continue**.
