How do I add a Mindstamp video to Articulate Storyline?
Use a Web Object. On the Insert tab, select Web Object, paste the address from the Mindstamp Basic iframe code, and select Test Link. The Web Object takes an address only. Video from Website takes embed code, but Articulate says those videos play outside the slide timeline, so triggers cannot control them.
Does Rise 360 accept the Mindstamp embed code?
Only the Basic iframe code or the plain address. Rise runs embeds through Embedly and accepts a URL or a single iframe, so the Responsive and Popout codes fail its check because they include a script. Embedded content must also use https, as Mindstamp addresses do.
Does the Storyline or Rise course record the Mindstamp score?
No. Storyline and Rise report only their own tracking, such as slides viewed or a quiz result, and an embedded player sends nothing to either. Upload the Mindstamp SCORM package as its own item instead. It sends completion and a score, the percent of questions answered correctly. See SCORM export.
Storyline already does interactive video. When does Mindstamp fit?
Storyline’s cue points and triggers can pause a video and show a question on a layer, as Articulate’s own examples do. Those questions ship inside each published course. Mindstamp keeps them on one hosted video, so an edit shows everywhere without a new publish, and it brings questions to Rise video. Compare the two in Mindstamp vs Articulate 360.
Does Articulate have its own interactive video now?
Yes. Articulate 360 AI has an Interactive Video type, with help pages dated September 2026. Its AI adds chapters and a transcript, and checkpoints pause the video for a knowledge check. The source video can run up to 45 minutes or 500 MB. The Articulate pages read on October 5, 2026 do not document an LMS export for it.
