Video host integration
Copy the direct file link of a Vimeo video, paste it into Mindstamp, and add questions, hotspots, buttons, and branching on the timeline. Vimeo keeps hosting the file, while Mindstamp plays it in its own player and records each viewer’s answers, clicks, and path.

Copy the video’s direct file link from Video file links in Vimeo, paste it into the Vimeo source on the Mindstamp New video page, and add questions, buttons, hotspots, or branching in the editor. Mindstamp plays the file in its own player, so viewers answer inside the video and you see each answer in Mindstamp reports.
You need a Vimeo plan that includes video file links, which Vimeo calls third-party player support. Vimeo’s help lists Standard, Advanced, Pro, Business, Premium, and Enterprise, and the newer Professional plan lists third-party player support. Vimeo is moving to new plan names, so check your own plan page.
Mindstamp needs the video file, not the vimeo.com page. A link that ends in .m3u8 or .mp4 works. Copy it from Video file links in your Vimeo Library, then paste it again.
Not as views. Vimeo counts plays in other players as Third-party Impressions, an approximate metric that is not part of total views. Mindstamp records each view, answer, and click, so use Mindstamp reports for the interactive video.
Vimeo’s interactive tools need an Enterprise plan, and its quiz download lists sessions rather than names. Mindstamp works with any Vimeo plan that gives file links, adds lead capture so answers have names, and can send answers to HubSpot, Zapier, or a webhook. See Mindstamp vs Vimeo.
