How do I change button colors?
Short answer
Set default button colors in Design > Buttons: Text, Background and Border. To change one button, select it and use Colors on its Styling tab. To recolor buttons you already made, apply the design to your videos with Restore all interaction styles selected.
How to do it
Copy link to How to do it- Open Branding in the side menu to change the account default, or open a video and select Design to change only that video.
- In the Buttons section, set Colors: Text, Background and Border.
- Set Roundness if you want square or rounded corners.
- To change a single button, select it on the timeline, open Styling, and change Colors.
- To recolor existing buttons, select Apply to videos…, choose the videos, select Restore all interaction styles, and confirm.
- Preview the video and check each button over the frames behind it.

Which color wins

- A video design wins over its group design, and a group design wins over the account design.
- New buttons take the Design colors at the moment you add them. Later changes to Design do not recolor buttons that already exist, unless you apply the design to those videos.
Apply to videos… is permanent
Copy link to Apply to videos… is permanentApplying a design replaces the design of the selected videos, except their thumbnails, and cannot be undone. If Restore all interaction styles is clear, only buttons whose colors still match the old design are updated. If it is selected, every interaction style on those videos is overwritten.
Other colors that affect buttons

- Question buttons have their own colors in the Questions section.
- End Screen and overlay buttons have their own colors in the Overlays section.
