Can I change how my buttons look?

Updated · 2 min read

Short answer

Yes. Select the button and open its Styling tab to change colors, border radius, font size, position, size, transition and animation. For the default look of every button, use the Buttons section in Design. You can also format the button text with simple HTML.

  1. Open the video and select the button on the timeline.
  2. On the Content tab, write a short label that says what happens, such as "Book a call".
  3. Open the Styling tab.
  4. Set Border Radius and Font Size with the minus and plus buttons.
  5. Drag the button on the video to move and resize it, or type exact values under Position. Use Match to copy a value from another interaction.
  6. Choose a Transition (how the button appears) and an Animation (motion while it shows).
  7. Preview the video on a laptop and a phone.

On the Design page, set button and text colors and roundness for the account, or override them for one video.

Set the default for every button

Open Design and go to Buttons. Set Colors (Text, Background, Border) and Roundness. New buttons start with these values. Set them from Branding in the side menu to apply to every new video.

Transitions and animations are available on Core and higher plans.

Add many buttons with one style

Style your first button, then set the Buttons defaults in Design to match, so every new button starts with that look. To add several buttons at once, see the related article on multiple buttons.

Button labels accept simple HTML, such as a line break or bold text. Keep labels short. Long labels wrap on phones and make the button taller.

Keep a small set of styles

  • Use one style for the main action and one for secondary actions.
  • Keep the same style for the same kind of action in every video.
  • Keep enough space between buttons for a finger to tap the right one.
  • Do not rely on color alone to show that a button is the main action. Use size, position or the label as well.
