Reporting and integrations
Per-viewer reports, exports, viewer identity, and the tools Mindstamp sends data to.
- How do I view interactive video analytics and reports?Find views, answers, clicks, completion and viewer activity in Mindstamp Reporting, and learn what each figure measures before you act on it.
- Can I download my interaction data?Export Mindstamp views, interactions and viewers as a CSV file, add answer columns, and schedule recurring exports by email or webhook.
- What does each exported field mean?Definitions for the columns in a Mindstamp views export and the fields in API and webhook view records, from watched time to correctness.
- How is furthest point different from last point?Furthest point is the latest moment a viewer reached. Last point is where they were when the session ended. See when the two differ and which to use.
- How does Mindstamp recognize viewers, and why are some anonymous? How Mindstamp remembers a viewer in one browser, what happens on a new device or QR code, and how to identify viewers for resume and completion.
- Can I get one report with completion and answers across several videos?Use the completion report for one row per person with a score for each video, and a filtered views export for every answer across a course.
- Can I give a client access to reports for only some videos?Put a client’s videos in a group and invite the client as an Analyst. They see reports for that group only, with no subscription or admin seat needed.
- How can I collect the exact viewer location?Turn on Collect precise viewer location to ask viewers for their device location, and learn what is stored when they allow or decline.
- Why is the viewer location wrong or in another country?Standard viewer location comes from the network address, which VPNs, company networks and mobile carriers often place far from the viewer.
- How can video data improve future messaging?Turn answers, choices, clicks, drop-off and completion from your interactive videos into specific changes to your next video or campaign message.
- How do I use Google Analytics with Mindstamp?Add your Google Analytics ID to Mindstamp to send watch-progress events to GA4, and see which events arrive and how to check them.
- How do I connect Mindstamp to Zapier?Connect Mindstamp to Zapier to send finished views, viewers and interactions to other apps, with the plan gate and the checks that prevent duplicates.
- How does Mindstamp integrate with Salesforce?Salesforce setup is quoted per account. See what to prepare, the routes that work today through Zapier or webhooks, and what to test before rollout.
- How does the HubSpot integration work?Connect HubSpot to create or update contacts from video viewers, add view and answer events to the timeline, map answers to properties and update lists.
- How do Mindstamp webhooks work?Send view, interaction and lead records to your endpoint as signed JSON. See the plan for each type, when they are sent, and how to verify them.
- How does the Shopify integration work?Mindstamp sets up a custom Shopify connection for each store. Then you add products to a video with Add to Cart, and viewers check out from an in-video cart.
- What viewer and lead data does each integration send?A data map for HubSpot, Google Analytics, webhooks, Zapier and Salesforce: what each one sends, when it is sent, what you must set up, and the plan needed.
- How do I test an integration from start to finish?A step-by-step test for GA4 watch progress and for HubSpot or webhook fields: one test view, the expected result, and what to check when data is missing.
