How do I embed a Mindstamp video in Thinkific?
Short answer
Publish the Mindstamp video and copy the address from its embed code. In Thinkific’s new course builder, select More, then Interactive or Web content, paste the address, and choose Embed. In the classic builder, add a Multimedia lesson, select Use externally hosted content, and paste the address. Preview as a learner before you publish the course.

Thinkific needs a secure address
Copy link to Thinkific needs a secure addressThinkific shows external lesson content in an iframe inside its secure course player. The Mindstamp address must start with https, or the lesson can show a blank screen. Mobile browsers can also block media that plays by itself. If the lesson is blank on Android, turn off Autoplay (muted) on the Mindstamp Share page and copy the address again.
If your account restricts embed domains
Copy link to If your account restricts embed domainsIf you set Allowed embed domains in Mindstamp, add your Thinkific school’s domain to the list. Otherwise learners see “Video not available: Code 617”. See restrict embed domains.
Know which learner watched
Copy link to Know which learner watchedThe embed does not receive the learner’s Thinkific account. To see names in Mindstamp reports, add lead capture to the video so learners enter their name and email. See viewer identity and anonymous viewers.
An embed does not report completion to Thinkific
Copy link to An embed does not report completion to ThinkificThe embed places the interactive player in the lesson, and Mindstamp records the view in its own reports. It does not tell Thinkific that the learner finished. If the course must mark completion from the video, check whether your Thinkific setup accepts a SCORM package, and see SCORM export and LMS compatibility.
