Does Mindstamp support xAPI or cmi5?
Short answer
No. Mindstamp does not export xAPI (Tin Can) or cmi5 packages, and it does not send statements to a learning record store (LRS). To send completion and a score to an LMS, use a SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 package.

What to use instead
Copy link to What to use instead- SCORM export sends completion and a score for each learner to any LMS that imports SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 packages. It is on Core and higher plans.
- Mindstamp reports keep the full detail for each learner: watched percentage, every answer, clicks, branch paths and score. You can export these records as CSV files.
If your team must have xAPI statements
Copy link to If your team must have xAPI statementsYou can build your own bridge. Mindstamp does not provide or support the xAPI side of it, so your team owns the statement format, the LRS connection and its testing.
- On a web page that embeds the video, listen for player events such as progress_100 and viewer_interaction, then send your own statements to the LRS. Javascript player events are on Core and higher plans.
- Use webhooks to receive view and interaction data on your server, then convert it to statements. View webhooks are on Core and higher plans. Interaction webhooks are on Pro and higher plans.
- Use the REST API to read views and interactions on a schedule. The API is on Pro and higher plans.
Why some older pages mention xAPI
Copy link to Why some older pages mention xAPISome older Mindstamp pages said Mindstamp supports xAPI. That is not correct for the current product. If a vendor form asks, answer SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 only.
