What does Change Time do?
Short answer
Change Time moves playback to another time in the same video and keeps playing from there. Use it as a Click Action when the viewer chooses the jump, as a question answer action, or as a Change Time navigation when the jump should happen by itself.
How to do it
Copy link to How to do it- For a viewer choice, open a button, hotspot, image or text, set the Click Action to Change Time, and choose the time in Select Time.
- For an automatic jump, click More in the interaction bar, choose Change Time, then set the Action Time and the Time to switch to.
- Pick a destination that starts cleanly, at the start of a sentence or scene.
- Save, then play from a few seconds before the jump to test it.

Change Time or Switch Video
Copy link to Change Time or Switch VideoChange Time stays in the same video, so all data stays in one report. Switch Video moves to a different video, which is better when each path is long or reused in other places.
Do not trap viewers in a loop
Copy link to Do not trap viewers in a loopA jump back to an earlier point needs a way out. Add a button that jumps past the section, or use a variable and conditional logic (Pro and higher plans) so the jump runs only once.
What happens after the jump
Copy link to What happens after the jumpInteractions at the new time show as usual. Items the viewer already clicked keep their post-click state. If a Change Time click is on an interaction that requires a click, it also ends the wait for other required interactions. Jumps can make a viewer’s last point differ from their furthest point in reports.
